MUSCADET COTEAUX DE LA LOIRE SUR LIE CEPAGE : Melon de Bourgogne REGION : Riverbanks on each side of the Loire around Ancenis. Schist soil with high mineral content. WINEMAKING PROCESS : Selection of the best grape clusters and separate winemaking according to the soil type. Skin contact maceration, juice settling; slow processing in thermo-regulated tanks. The wine is kept on its lees during ageing until it is bottled. |

COMMENTS : White wine with complex aromas with notes of white fruits, toasted bread and flint that are also found in Sancerre wine. A lot of freshness on the palate for this very structured wine that has a long finish. Serve chilled (8-9°C/46- 48°F). Accompanies seafood, oysters, fish and goat milk cheeses. |
