APPELLATION : AOC
CRÉMANT DE LOIRE VARIETY : Chenin (90%) et Chardonnay (10%) REGION : Anjou WINEMAKING PROCESS : Produced in our Anjou vineyards and harvested by hand in 25-kg open-weave baskets, the Chenin and Chardonnay grapes are pressed and made into wine following the traditional method. There is a second fermentation in bottles for a minimum of 12 months. The riddling and final dosing determines the brut character of the wine. DE CHANCENY is only slightly dosed |
|
COMMENTS : The golden yellow colour and the fine bubbles announce a very elegant wine. The bouquet is dominated by the aroma of small, slightly acid fruits (cherries, gooseberries). The secondary aromas have more nuances of almonds and toasted bread. DE CHANCENY is evidently a party wine but it is just as delicious served as an aperitif or with fish such as salmon. Serve chilled 6-8°C/43-46°F . |
